*Change of Meet N Greet
Please make note that due to construction setbacks experienced by Double Barrel Brewery, we have to change the venue of the Meet N Greet.
The time will still be 6:30pm on Tuesday, May 22nd, but the event will now be held at the Sandbar on Kellogg Avenue. Would appreciate a good showing from the Linwood community.

Councilmembers Seek Community Input on 4-Year Terms in Public Hearings
Cincinnati Councilmembers want to hear from citizens before deciding which proposal for 4-year council terms to place on the November ballot. A majority of Councilmembers support 4-year terms as a non-partisan, “good government” reform.
After a presentation by Councilmember Laure Quinlivan, members voted two versions out of the Government Operations Committee in February. One option has all 9 members running in a single election every 4 years; the other option has staggered terms with 4 or 5 members running every 2 years.
In both versions, changes begin with the 2013 council election, and the 8-year term limit remains.
Quinlivan has organized a series of public hearings in City Hall and in the community to facilitate as much public debate and discussion as possible. Details for the remaining hearings are as follows:
Monday, May 7 at 6pm at Oakley Recreation Center, 3882 Paxton Avenue
Tuesday, May 22 at 6pm at Price Hill Recreation Center, 959 Hawthorne Avenue
The public is encouraged to fill out speaker cards and let Council know whether they prefer a change to 4-year terms with same year or staggered elections. Speakers have the opportunity to address Council for 2 minutes.
“Council will be more productive and collaborative with 4-year terms,” says Quinlivan. “Leaders in every major city in Ohio and most every city we compete with have 4-year terms to enable strategic planning and long term vision.”
Quinlivan also encourages anyone interested in providing feedback to take the following brief survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/4-Year_Terms_Survey.
